My name is Dan Hart; I am an Alumni of Chippewa Valley Technical College and I graduated with Honors in Computer Information Systems – Computer Network Specialist with an emphasis in PC and Network Hardware. Like you DJ, I have a passion for Technology and Business. My dream is to manage and run my own Computer Repair and Consulting Business. With a new NetBook in my inventory I believe it will give me a jump start with my repair business and allow me to develop a written, compressive business plan. I will also be able to bring it to onsite locations and troubleshoot wireless connectivity, do data backups, and other misc. onsite repairs. My plan is to continue my education and study Small Business Management to prepare myself for business ownership. With the NetBook, I will be able to finish my degree and open my business. I hope to be a consideration for the grand prize of a new NetBook.

Hello DJ here is my entrie hope u like it. (Everything i say here is true im not lying)

Now I’m not going to give you a sad story that is probably fake, I’m going to give you the truth. My name is Nick F. and i want the netbook. Now my reason for the netbook is well, I’ve never really had anything fancy like a laptop and i am pursuing a carer in technology. The netbook is perfect because its got good space, small, portable, and i could be my own personal netbook. My family is pretty poor and i cant really get anything because i have three other brothers, and the oldest gets everything he needs while im stuck with hand-me-downs my brother gets all the good stuff. I just thought ” if i win this contest then i could finally show my mom and see that i could achieve much more then she knows. So i would really want a netbook to kind or give me that boost that i’ve been needing to you know, just get up there, dream, think that anythings possible if you just believe and put some effort into it. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my story and give me the tim of day to show you that i sort-of deserve the netbook and again thank you.

Now all of that is real i mean if you want you could say that’s fake he only wants the laptop, well no thats all 100% true. Thank you for at least taking me under consideration. Thank you :)

Hello, my name is Camille. I am a 14 year old sophomore taking all 4 Pre-AP classes available in my year, as well as Spanish 2 and Competitive Athletics. With these classes, I can’t say that the work load is not a lot. On top of that, I’m expected to receive an A in every class, I have basketball, and I am an aspiring musician. Having the netbook would certainly make my life easier, but I can’t afford one mainly because I don’t come from a rich family. Having a small and portable netbook would be extremely helpful when I do my homework and projects especially during games and practices because of its portability. For example, I can bring it on the bus going to away games and I can work on my schoolwork. Also, I need that netbook because I am an aspiring passionate musician. In the little spare time I have, I try my best to record as much as I can. However, my parents always get mad when I used our only laptop in fear of me breaking it. Therefore sometimes I have to sneak it out of the room for a couple of hours. To be honest, I’m so desperate that’s why I’ve been joining so many netbook giveaway contest but my luck hasn’t lead me to win anything in the past. But I’m hoping this time it will. I also want to add that I’m unable to work unlike the other contestants because of my age (I’m probably the youngest one on here) Plus I have 3 other siblings. I, too, get hand-me-downs from my older sister, while my little brothers get everything they want because they are boys and they’re the baby of the family. Hey DJ,
I just wanted to add…Since i’ve read some of the other stories, I noticed people are really telling you about their achievements. So I’d like to add a few more things about myself. Well I got into college here as a trial and error thing… meaning i really didnt know if i could make it especially since i was pg with my daughter at the time. Since i’ve started i’ve made deans list every semester and managed to make it out of my moms house and into my own apartment in the low income units. I am not rich or even middle class i am poor too just like that nick kid above, but i manage to scrape by. Thats why i entered to win this contest, i need a computer so bad! All my family wishes me a computer and wishes they could afford one for me because they all know my situation and how hard it is to depend on other people’s things and time to succeed. Even though I dont own a computer i do very well in my computer courses, i think its because thats the only class i liked in high school. I ended up testing out of my computer basics course and now tutor that class while i attend computer applications. I still love that class and i really respect people that do well in technology. There is a big need for that here in our Tech help department for the college. THEY SUCK! If only i knew a few more things i think i would be a whiz at fixing “minor” glitches. The netbook would be so awsome to take care of and explore, i would update it with all the best programs when i go onto a four year degree at the UWSuperior. I just went there for a campus tour and they told me that all my credits will transfer into any of my general ed. courses, so i will only need to go another 2-2 1/2 years to earn my 2nd degree. Life has not been easy for me, but i look forward to putting my best foot forward as much as i can so i can say hey at least i tried my best. Thats another reason why i am telling you all this extra stuff…Oh and by the way i see that you are a micheal jackson fan! so am I! When i viewed your you tube of the micheal impersonator i was on you tube for like 2 in a half hours looking up micheal’s moves! HE IS THE BEST DANCER EVER! and i love his music! But yeah i am subscribed to this and your you tube now and plan on looking at your how to buy stocks sometime this week. I know the successful people always tell me that they invest their money and thats how they make it grow! Well if you or your girlfriend want to ask me anything feel free! Nick, thanks i think…haha. Well I really hope i win too, because i dont even have a dinosour computer to complain about. I imagine i won it too especially when I wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, considering im carrying 50 lbs extra weight, one of the only good things i have is imagining this netbook in home to help me not fall behind when i cant attend college because of the new ” no child in the classroom policy” just passed last semester!! It would be so awsome to have the security of knowing that i can stay home and still complete my courses during the month i cant go to school, and finish out my success story to graduate this december. And the netbook is going to be a big part of my success story when i tell others that they can make it too if i can. Well nick and everyone else here i hope that no matter what we all can be thankful to DJ and his fine lady that they were able to uplift someone’s life througth this gift they are able to give away.
