When the idea of blogging came to mind, the question that always seemed to popup was how often I should post. I have been posting once a day and sometimes every other day. When I first began the blog, I went to Barnes & Noble to see what kind of reading material they had for blogging. I came across the book Problogger, Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income by Darren Rowse and Chris Garrett.
I have been reading a little each night and last night I was reading a section about how often bloggers should post (there’s that question again).  Therefore, I have a few questions for everyone.  How often should bloggers post?  How many posts are too much?  If a blogger posts to much or not enough, would you unsubscribe.  I appreciate everyone’s feedback and look forward to reading your answers.

I say: There is no rule unless And until one is having quality information to share.

It will be great if you could post each day. But, i couldn’t just do your post regularly.

I have been trying to find a set rule on how often I should post. I am still undecided on how often I should post.
I think what you are doing know is fine. If you post like 5 times a day, it may be too much to read, but if you post once every 5 days, people will leave because they don’t want to wait that long. So do what you fell comfortable with that is anywhere between the two. Just my opinion.
Well bloggers to me i mean if you have an idea or whatever explain it to the world and bloggers should be able to post a blog whenever and like i see that you post a blog like everyday which is good it will keep your audience entertained.
I mean post as much as u want.
@Nick,
If a blogger posts to much or to little will you stop visiting their blog?
@Nick,
I agree that bloggers should post whenever they want. It all comes down to the readers though. Some readers will stop coming to a blog if it’s not updated frequently or to much posting. This is why I did this post to see what everyone thinks.
@Elliot,
The two options that I am leaning toward is either once a day or every other day. What you think about that?
DJ,
I enjoy your blog’s layout and content. Great stuff.
I feel that a blogger should post whenever they feel like it. If you are passionate in what you are blogging about the lapse between posts will rarely be more than a few days. The frequency doesn’t matter as much as the passion behind your content.
Inspiration jumps off of the page and grabs the reader’s attention. So does a forced post. Write from the heart and ignore search engines or ‘convention’. When the creative ideas flow post them and people will find you.
I usually post daily, but if I’m not feeling it I’ll wait until I do. This has worked for me.

I think once a day is great unless you have a really good idea and you’re inspired at that moment and you don’t want to forget.
yea dont blog to much or to little 1 or 2 blogs a day is fine
I THINK THAT THERE SHOULD BE NO RULE FOR THIS. WELL, UNLESS YOU HAD PRE-COMMITTED YOURSELF TO IT, ONE EXAMPLE IS THE OWNER OF DAILYBLOGTIPS.COM WHICH MUST CREATE AN ARTICLE ONCE A DAY, AT LEAST.
FOR ME, THE MAIN FOCUS MUST BE THE POST QUALITY OVER FREQUENCY, OTHERWISE, IT WILL BE VERY STRESSFULL IF YOU FORCE YOURSELF BEYOND WHAT YOU CAN DO.

@Nhoel
I also believe in the quality over frequency. I am leaning toward every other day. I have my girlfriend writing articles too.
@Ryan
Thanks for your thoughtful post. I feel that all writers should have some sort of passion when they write and readers will definitely tell when you are passionate.
