Motorola announces Moto G4

Motorola today announced its new smartphone dubbed Moto G4 in India. The new device will target the mid-range smartphone segment this year. According to Lenovo, Moto G4 will be the leading device for the company's move into the Indian market.

Lenovo-owned smartphone manufacturer, Motorola has just announced its new smartphone called Moto G4 at a press event in India. The new device features the same design language found on Motorola's previous models with metal-frame around the edge to provide a sturdy structure. The device measures just 7.9 mm thickness and has no fingerprint sensor.



 

The new device features a 5.5 inch Full HD display and provides a very good pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood, the new handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, clocked at 1.8 Ghz, Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. 

Moto G4 features a 13MP rear shooter with an f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash. There is an 84-degree wide angle 5MP front-facing camera, allowing users to capture more objects.The new device comes equipped with a 3.000 mAh battery and Turbo Power fast charging that offers six hours of battery life after a 15 -minute charge. Motorola Moto G4 runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, supports VoLTE, 3G and dual sim cards. The new device will hit stores in June.
